clickasnap App

Putting photography in the palm of their hands

clickasnap

App

2024

Brief

"With a solid customer-base and increasing sign-ups, we need a smartphone app to help position clickasnap alongside mainstream social media platforms."

Background

Around 60-70% of visitors to clickasnap.com access the site on smartphones. In an effort to offer a bespoke mobile experience, as well as boost the attractiveness of the company to investors, an app was added to the product roadmap.

How I helped

  • Lead UI/UX design

  • Product development

Due to the small size of the team, I delivered the design of the app solo. At its core, it provided all the features of the website, but with an interface solely focused on the mobile photographer.

The app was a great vehicle for me to trail out changes and updates to the UI/UX, as well as float ideas for new product features to the product team.

Creator Hub became a permanent feature in the app allowing users to drill down into the data behind their images and as such has been included in the project road map for the website.

With the recent rebrand as well as the recent UI/UX refresh of the website, the app is currently going through a massive UI/UX overhaul.

Some elements of that have been featured here but as of yet are not live in the app.
